My passion for horses started at a young age. Beginning to take my first riding lessons at the age of 9, I eagerly started to spend time at local riding schools in Italy, Switzerland and the United States.
Very soon I developed a love for Dressage and was promptly pushed by my trainers the direction of this sport. Soon after, I started competing in Dressage shows in Italy, at the age of 12. With the guidance of an experienced horse, my very first show partner, I went on to winning the Italian National Dressage Championships in year 2004.
I continued to compete for a couple of years after that, until my horse Orianda came along. Because of her strong and dominant character I was led to search for a solution to our problems and found Parelli Natural Horsemanship.
The Parelli program led me to understand so much more about horse behavior and myself. My horse and I changed together into what I previously had only dreamed of! Along the way I have been lucky enough to learn from some great horsemen, athletes, trainers and riders that have all contributed to increasing my knowledge and experience.
During my path to becoming a Parelli Professional I have had the chance to spend some very precious learning time at the Parelli Center in Pagosa Spring, Colorado for 4 weeks in 2010 and 12 weeks in the Summer of 2012.
In 2013 came my move to the Netherlands, where I am currently living and completing a Master degree in Health Psychology at Utrecht University. Along side I am dedicating much of my time in the development of my two young horses (in the area of Maarsbergen) and enjoying the opportunity to teach students and their horses by following the principles of love, language and leadership to build a harmonious partnership.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
